ABOUT US
ROP affects our most vulnerable children, our premature babies. These babies come into the world already fighting for their lives. ROP is just one of the many hurdles they have to overcome. Retinopathy of Prematurity is a very preventable eye disease, however, it takes good monitoring with high-quality equipment (like the 3nethra neo) to observe and assess retinal changes and to take action when further treatment and intervention is required.
The 3nethra neo HD FFA is great for documentation of ocular diseases in infants and children. It can capture colour and fluorescein angiogram(FA) retinal images of the human eye. Ultra-wide-field fluorescein angiography can reveal areas of peripheral neovascularization and active leakage among infants.
We believe that innovation in technology and creative business models can help develop sustainable access to vision care for premature babies.
ForOptics is a medical technology company with the goal of creating a National Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) Screening program using the latest ophthalmic equipment. Currently, we have ROP services running at Taranaki, Hawkes Bay, Tauranga, Whakatane, Hutt Valley, Whanganui and Whangarei Hospitals.
Our FA service can come to your private clinics so you can do fluorescein angiogram under EUA on your patients with out waiting for space in the public system.
